Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and any work you book with Professional Gardena Insulation Company. By using the site, asking for an estimate or scheduling a job, you agree to them, so please read them before you hire us.
If a written estimate or contract for your job says something different from this page, the written estimate or contract controls for that job. You can learn more about who we are on our About page, or start from the home page.
What we do
We're an insulation contractor in Gardena, CA, and we work on homes and commercial buildings in Gardena and the cities around it. Our work includes attic, wall, crawl space and blown-in insulation, spray foam, air sealing, vapor barriers and removal of old insulation.
The service descriptions on this site are general. What we actually do at your house is set by your written estimate after we've looked at the space, because conditions in an attic or crawl space can change what the job needs.
Estimates and pricing
Estimates are free, done on site and obligation-free. Your price depends on things like the size of the space, how easy it is to reach, what's already up there and whether old material has to come out first.
An estimate is based on what we can see before the work starts. If we open up a space and find something we couldn't see, such as wet or contaminated insulation or damaged framing, we'll stop, explain it and get your OK before doing any extra work or charging for it.
Unless your estimate says otherwise, it stays good for 30 days, since material costs can change.
Scheduling and cancellation
We'll set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Weather, material supply or a problem found on site can move the schedule, and if that happens we'll tell you as soon as we know.
Some materials, like spray foam, need time before you can go back inside. We'll tell you the re-entry time, which is when it's safe for you, your kids and your pets to return, before the job starts so you can plan around it.
If you need to cancel or move your appointment, call or message us as early as you can. If we've already ordered special materials for your job, your estimate or contract will say whether any of that cost is yours.
Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are written in your estimate or contract. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is done.
If a payment is late, we may pause further work until the account is current, and you agree to cover reasonable costs we have to spend collecting what's owed, as far as California law allows.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
We're licensed and insured, and we guarantee your satisfaction on every job. If something about our work isn't right, call us and we'll come back and make it right.
Any warranty on materials comes from the maker of those materials, under the maker's own terms. Other than the guarantee and any written warranty in your contract, our work and this website are provided as they are, with no other promises, including any promise about how much your power bill will drop.
Our guarantee doesn't cover damage caused by roof leaks, plumbing leaks, pests, other contractors' work or changes made to the space after we finish.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost use of a room or lost income, that come from our work or from using this website. Our total responsibility for a job is limited to what you paid us for that job.
Nothing here limits our responsibility for harm we cause through gross negligence or on purpose, or anything else California law doesn't let a business limit.
Using this website
The information on this site is general advice about insulation, not a plan for your house. Things like costs, timing and what a job needs can only be settled once we've seen the space.
The text, photos and design on this site belong to Professional Gardena Insulation Company. Please don't copy them for business use without asking us first.

If you're unhappy with anything, please call us first at (424) 292-2987 or reach us through our Contact page. Most problems get settled with a conversation and, if needed, a return visit.
If we can't work it out between us, either side may take the matter to a court with authority in Los Angeles County, California, including small claims court where the amount qualifies.
California law applies
These terms, and any work we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page from time to time. Changes apply from the day they're posted here, and they won't change the terms of a job you've already signed for.
